Most people want microwave results with very little action when it comes weight loss, chiseled abs or the famous Michelle Obama arms. But these are not always achievable at a speed of choice, and if you don’t hit them then you may be discouraged and degress. A Fitness Professional will not only help you set realistic goals that you will be able to achieve – if you put in the effort, of course – but they will also be able to keep you on track to hit those goals. For example, if your goal is to achieve a ‘bikini body’ for summer, it’s not just about doing 100 crunches a day for a month to work your abs. It’s about altering your diet to eat the correct foods, mixing cardio and weights to work the right muscles, and setting a timeframe in which this can be achieved.
There are always going to be some exercises that you enjoy more than others, beyond simple capability. A Fitness Professional will be able to tailor your training plan with a purpose to suit you and what you enjoy, as well as encourage you to do the exercises that are best to achieve your goals.
I have found in my twenty plus years of fitness that the best thing one can have for their health and fitness journey is a good nutrition plan that is versatile and created with each person’s own calculated macronutrients. Knowing the proper amount of protein, fats and carbs you need to produce a healthy and fit body is like someone giving you a plan to create your first million. Nutrients are substances needed for growth, energy provision and other body functions. Macronutrients are those nutrients required in large amounts that provide the energy needed to maintain body functions and carry out daily activities.
